Problem running SiDiary in Vista

Hi,

I have installed SiDiary v5 and the update for v5 on a system running Vista Business Edition.  I was able to get all of the licneses to install via the SiDiary licensing manager.  My issue is that I can not get SiDiary to open up.  I try to open it as the administrator and it appears to try to lanch but nothing happens.  I can see that my CPU usage spikes as it tries to launch but then goes back to normal.  I have uninstalled SiDiary, redownloaded the software and reinstalled with the same issue appearing.

I am able to get the software to run on my phone running Windows Mobile 5.

Anyone have any ideas?

Have you any error messages or any entries in your windows error log?
Can you have a look in your taskmanager if SiDiary.exe is running? Did you installed it as admin or as normal user?

Thanks for the follow-up on this.  

I installed the software as an administrator.  When I try to start the program I am also running it as an administrator.

There are no errors in the System information - Windows Error Reporting for Sidiary.  There are no errors recorded since I began trying to run SiDiary yesterday.

I checked the task manager and sidiary.exe was not running.  I checked under applications, processes, and services.

then try the following: download this and unzip it to your ..\SiDiary\Bin\ folder.

Then start SiDiary again...
