Do you have Admin Rights :kratz:

I remember me to a similar problem. In this case a firewall prevent write access to the registry. Some components couldn't make the needed registry entrie's. Maybe you have a similar problem ... or Lord British is right ... you don't have admin rights.
But on the other site, I used my USB Stick on many pc's without admin rights without problems. Maybe this is not so if you use a local installed version. You didn't wrote about we talk about... the USB-version or the local on your harddrive installed version. Which one make this problems?

BTW. @Jörg: What kind of activeX controls is SiDiary using? Use the applikation activeX controls or is it a driver problem ?

Sorry, but that's a question for Alf.

LB is right: if you don't have admin permissions SiDiary isn't able to register it's components properly.
