Hi Alf! :hilfe:
I have a problem, after reinstaling the diary onto an new hard drive, and recieving new licence keys from sinovo for the diary and my meter driver, I've found that when I try to sync the meter I get the message,
 "Init failure of SiDiary-Sys-Componant. Could not register ActiveX object:429-ActiveX componant can't create object Sync with mobile devices will not work".
The import screen then loads, but if I try to import data, I get the message,
" The Freestyle Flash device could'nt be found at the com ports.Please be sure it is connected properly and swithed on!"
As I have tested the the com ports through device manager on my computer and am being told that my devices are working properly, have their been any similar questions posted re this problem?

Sorry Alf should have said I tried the synk with the Usb sidiary and my sons F/Style mini and it loaded o.k. with no hitches "???"

Do you use Vista? If yes, start Sidiary onetime as admin, after this it will work. This can be a problem of the Vista Sandbox.

I use USB Sidiary too. Did you disabled ActiveX on your PC? Maybe this is the problem. On the other site, there is a thing which I don't understand:

There is a diverence. If you copy sidiary from USB-Stick to your local pc it will run in Trialmode. Maybe there are some restrictions. Only Jörg or Alf can say more. Is it the USB-version or the pc-version which have this problems?

In the past I had some problems with some onboard-chipsets and other USB-components. In this case it helps if I used the USB 1.1 port. Maybe this can help you. Otherwise Jörg or Alf must provide a solution.

It could help if you post the version of your Sidiary.

It's quite simple: the error messages states, that there are some components aren't registered properly to your system.

The easiest way to solve it is to update your SiDiary. (No matter, which version is currently installed). If you update your SiDiary, the updater re-registers all necessary components so it should work after that.
