Titel: Changing Sidiary to another PC
Beitrag von: Matt_C am August 18, 2007, 16:38
Hi Alf,

My desktop PC just died on me (cpu is burnt out  :moser: ) and I have installed the trial version of Sidiary onto my laptop.

If I remember correctly, the licence that I used for my desktop PC cannot be transferred to the laptop.
How can I register the trial version on my laptop?  do I have to buy Sidiary again?

thanks

Matt

Did you have your old registration information? Or did you lost it?

I should be able to get the information from the hard-drives.  I just bought an external hard drive case and have fitted the hard drives into it - unfortunately the case needs a SATA cable and my laptop doesn't have that connector.  Until I can order a USB to SATA adaptor I can't access my hard drive with my licence data..... :mauer:

I found out where to go to change the unique serial number associated with my hardware.
If you click the "about" tab in SiDiary, then click "register", inside is a link if your hardware has changed, and you can request a new licence number.
Now all I need to do is access my old hard drives to read my registration emails.....

Right! Or to contact info@sinovo.net to get a new copy of it (for free, of course)

In this case it's not necessary, because I've already forwarded it you :zwinker:
