Hi,

I've got a Sony Erricson P910i and I'm trying to get the SiDiary software to work.

The software does install, but when I click on the application it starts Java and gives me the following error:

Program closed
Program: jes-151-javax. microedition.  lcdui1@1420c4
Reason code: KERN-EXEC
Reason number: 3

I'm trying to set this up to it can assist me with managing diabetes.

Can someone please help me?

Hi John,

unfortunately Patrik (the main developer of the Java version) has started a two week holidays last Wednesday. Hopefully he can assist you with some hints for the p910i but please excuse a delay in his answer.

Perhaps there's another forum member who is using this device?  :-\

Hallo John,
der Fehler bedeutet, dass ein unerwateter Fehler eingetreten ist und die Java-Umgebung abgestürtzt ist. Es handelt sich um keinen Fehler in unserer Anwendung! Dieser Fehler besteht bereits seit einiger Zeit und die Sony-Ericsson Leute scheinen damit nichts gemacht zu haben. In der neuen Version(5.0.11) die demnächst rauskommt habe ich zwei Sachen geändert, die den Fehler laut anderer Entwickler verursachen, geändert. Ich hoffe, dass es etwas bringt. Das schwierige an der Sache ist, dass uns kein solches Gerät zur Verfügung steht und im Emulator läuft alles 1A.

Hi John,

Patrik asked me to translate his information.

It seems that there is a problem with S&E's Java implementation since he found several developer forums with such discussions. Although we have no real P910i device he has checked everything with the emulator and did also include some minor code changes which were suggested in these forums. Since the emulator worked absolutely fine with the currently released Java version Patrik cannot predict if his changes will take effect on a real cellphone but you could try the new version which isn't available yet but soon (Check out our Download->Updates webiste. The new version will be announced as 5.0.11.

which versions of the SE P910i are efecteted by this problem. I also own this mobile but never tryed SiDiary at the P910i?
Newes patchlevel or already an older patchlevel of the phone software?
