a general diabetes question...

Reschmieba, you've answered my prayers!!  :banane: see I have been trying to find a site that could simulate insulin/food data on a agraph so i could see effects, like the AIDA program, but it cannot use Lantus or Humalog for simulations yet! I have tried on excel, but my skills on the program do not peak past the bare basics. And on paper, well I cant really do the drawings too accurately.

So yes, I would be very interested in such a spreadsheet to help me, because I am really really struggling to get a good balance, and seem to have what is called "brittle diabetes", because sometimes my body reacts well and other times not at all to my insulin. I would really appreciate it.

It looks terribly complicated, but i thanks you for your time!I managed to process my reading on a friends computer, running excel2000, because it doesnt work on my excel 97 (im a little outdated here at work :mauer: ) But the graphs that i got back look great!

You could try to save it on your friend's PC in Excel-97 Format. Maybe then it works on your pc too.

Yes, try it. But I guess that it does not work because of the macros that calculate parts of curves to fit the profiles of insulines you can specify. The field under the shown curve corresponds to the units of insuline.

Pls. give feedback if you tried it out.
