I think the mods don't have any problem with English but we should keep this German thread in German (because there are many German beta testers and I don't think that all of them are happy with discussions only in English).

I thought we could discuss the English stuff in the English Beta thread - that's why I've added the Beta EN-Thread but right now we have a lot of spreaded posts. I think we should focus on the Beta-EN thread now

I find it very useful in the Line Graph to plot Bolus and Basal insulin against BG level.    This is a wonderful addition to Beta 6!

However, it is not as useful because of the narrow bar width of Bolus and Basal values.  This makes it very difficult to read.  It would be helpful to be able to customize bar width on the x axis, and possibly scale height on the y axis.  Is this possible, or would it be necessary to build a custom add-in to accomplish this?

Well actually that is a problem because all data-points or lines are scaled down to the x-axis which means the insulin shots and BE intake are just small peaks while the blue exercise rectangles can grow with the duration.

Increasing the width of the peaks for insulin and carb intakes have potential for misinterpretation: One could think that the width should show something like the acting time of the insulin instead of simply the timestamp of the insulin shot...

Your point about misinterpretation is a good one. It seemed to me that Beta 6 was using the line width for both BG and insulin plots, so I suspected this would be an issue.

Long ago I did mixed scale graphs in Excel and Lotus 1-2-3 ( ), but never in C++ or VB.  I know just enough to get into trouble.

Then maybe your download is corrupt and you should download it again. The file is okay!

And by the way: you don't need (and you can't) install V6 yet. It still only has to be unpacked.

I put quotes around "install", but I actually used WinZIP extract.  WinZIP 12 Pro is new to me. 

  I finally found the option to overwrite existing files

  After new extract with overwrite option, there were no errors!  Build 1130 is now working!

   Problem was between the chair and the keyboard.
